And certain people liked “nice design” or “good looking computers,” but they weren’t “techies.”
And then Mac OS went Unix. And geeks started grabbing ibooks, Tibooks, Powerbooks and Macbooks. You go to a tradeshow now and there are Macs everywhere with the IT types. Which by most definitions are pretty notebooks.
And then it is the iPhone. Geeks everywhere no longer sacrifice looks and design for tech specs. It’s all Apple’s fault. Tech specs are over. It is all about design, looks, power, and specs. Suddenly clunky cutting edge technology no longer cuts it. Dell got the memo and released Adamo.
